The Japanese program develops proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing to prepare students for any kind of language endeavor, as well as to provide all students with the opportunity to develop social and academic linguistic proficiency in a language other than English. Students in the Japanese program may also be able to participate in exchange programs with affiliated institutions in Japan such as Meijo University.
