Ana Carol Cutler

Carol Cutler is an instructor at Utah Tech University, where she has taught Academic Speaking, Writing, and Grammar since 2017. She has taught English as a Second/Foreign Language since 1997 in academic and corporate settings in the United States and internationally.

Carol holds an Associate’s degree from Utah Tech, a Bachelor’s degree in International/Global Studies and an ESL Teaching Certificate from Brigham Young University–Provo, and a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language from Wright State University. She is fluent in English and Portuguese and conversational in Spanish. Her teaching and scholarly interests center on grammar instruction, speaking ESL pedagogy, and communicative competence. She specializes in English grammar instruction and has co-authored a speaking-focused ESL textbook.

 

In her free time, Carol enjoys running and traveling. She is an avid fan of yoga, classic movies, and history.
